At the center of everything is feeling.
I'm a Nashville-based artist, songwriter, producer, engineer, director and cinematographer.
My music moves between alternative hip-hop, R&B, electronic, indie, pop and whatever else feels right. I've never been that interested in staying inside one genre. If an idea takes me somewhere else, I follow it.
Late nights. Overthinking. Nostalgia. Desire. Escape. The moments that feel enormous while you're living through them and strangely distant once they're gone.
That same feeling carries into everything I make.
SONGWRITING IS THE FOUNDATION.
I think about records as worlds, not just individual songs. The melodies, lyrics, textures and atmosphere all have to belong to the same feeling.
Some records are intimate. Some are chaotic. Some are meant for 2 AM. Others are supposed to shake a room.
BUILD THE WORLD.
Production is part of the writing for me. Drums, synths, samples, guitars, weird sounds. Whatever helps me get closer to the feeling I heard in my head.
Sometimes that means leaving enough space for a vocal to breathe. Sometimes it means stacking everything until it feels massive.
SHAPE THE FEELING.
For me, the song isn't finished when the writing is done. Recording, vocal production, mixing and experimenting with sound are all part of making the idea feel complete.
I'm not chasing perfection just for the sake of perfection. I care about immersion.
MAKE IT EXIST SOMEWHERE.
The visual side comes from the same place as the music. I use direction, cinematography, editing and color to give each record a world of its own.
Grain. Darkness. Movement. Imperfection. Color. Light.

To me, they're all part of the same language. Sometimes an idea becomes a song. Sometimes it becomes an image, a scene, or something in between.
I don't really think about where one ends and another begins. I just follow the idea wherever it needs to go.
